Hopper Claret

Hopper FabricJ0239-44

Hopper Claret is a richly toned plain cloth with a close-woven look and a deep claret red surface. Its colour reads warm and settled, with just enough texture to keep the finish from looking flat.

About this fabric

This Hopper colourway shows a dense, even weave with a softly mottled red ground that leans toward claret rather than bright crimson. The fabric is 140cm wide approx and composed of 46% Cotton, 41% Polyester and 13% Linen, giving it a natural-looking handle with a more stable, practical structure. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it works as a straightforward plain without pattern interruption, and the Q 8 + W 3 care code and K fire code support everyday residential use. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with a slightly rustic depth that suits the visible linen blend.

How to use it

Use it on a compact sofa, dining chairs or a tailored headboard where the claret tone can add richness. It pairs especially well with oak, dark timber and warm neutrals to keep the colour feeling refined.

A rich claret that feels tailored and warm, ideal for adding depth without a busy pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
