About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a crisp, everyday handle that suits relaxed interior schemes. The check measures approximately 1cm vertically and horizontally, creating a fine-scale gingham effect that reads clearly but softly across the cloth. In this colourway the red is diluted with a warmer pink tone, so the overall effect is less brash than a true scarlet and more like a softened raspberry-red. At approximately 135cm wide, it is a practical furnishing width, and the √BM fire code supports its use in domestic settings.
How to use it
Use Otley Soft Red for cottage-style cushions, simple blinds or a tailored armchair where the small check can add pattern without overpowering the room. It works particularly well with cream paintwork, pale timber and other muted reds and pinks.
