Tibor Red

Hudson FabricJ0281-02

Tibor Red shows a tightly worked zigzag motif in muted terracotta and dusty cream, giving the design a woven, slightly weathered look. The repeating pattern feels rhythmic and energetic without becoming loud.

About this fabric

This colourway of Tibor from Jane Churchill’s Hudson collection combines 49% Cotton, 41% Polyester and 10% Linen in a 138cm approx width, with a repeat of V 31cm / H 23cm approx. The surface reads as a textured, woven fabric rather than a flat print, with narrow red lines sitting over a pale cream ground. The red is softened toward terracotta, so it has warmth and depth rather than a bright primary finish. Its compact repeat and grounded palette make it feel tailored and practical for seating where a patterned fabric still needs to stay understated.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, dining chairs or a headboard where the warm red can add pattern without overpowering the room. It works especially well with oak, walnut, parchment tones and other muted natural finishes.

Pair with warm neutrals and natural woods to let the restrained red zigzag pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
