Larkin Red
Innis Small Prints FabricJ0214-02
Larkin Red pairs a cream ground with neat vertical trails of small leaf sprays in a warm coral red. The repeat reads orderly and fine, giving the print a fresh, tailored feel rather than a heavy statement.

About this fabric
This Jane Churchill fabric is woven in 60% linen and 40% cotton, with an approximate width of 130cm and a vertical repeat of 20cm by 26cm. The design shows slender rows of botanical sprigs, closely spaced to create a rhythmic stripe across the cloth. In this colourway, the red is softened by a touch of coral, so it feels bright but not harsh against the pale background. The linen-cotton mix gives the surface a lightly textured, natural look that suits relaxed decorating schemes as well as smarter rooms.
How to use it
Use Larkin Red where you want a clean patterned accent without overwhelming the room: it works especially well on small upholstered pieces, dining chairs or lined curtains. The warm red tone sits neatly with oak, aged brass and chalky neutrals, and looks particularly crisp beside off-white paint.
A crisp linen-cotton print that brings a lively, tailored note to curtains or occasional upholstery.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Larkin Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
