Raoul Red

Hudson FabricJ0276-05

Raoul Red reads here as a soft dusty rose with a gentle warm undertone and a finely textured surface. The close weave gives the colour a calm, even look rather than a bold red statement.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted rose-pink tone with a subtle heathered effect that softens the surface and keeps it from feeling flat. The fabric is a useful mid-weight at approximately 138cm wide, woven in 70% cotton, 19% acrylic, 7% linen and 4% polyester, with a small 1cm by 1cm repeat. Its tight, cloth-like texture suggests a fabric that will sit neatly on both furniture and window treatments, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BH fire code add practical reassurance for everyday schemes. The overall effect is warm, understated and slightly tailored, with enough depth to read as a refined pink rather than a bright red.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, bedroom headboard or relaxed curtains where the soft rose tone can bring warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a quietly polished finish.

A warm dusty pink that works neatly across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
