Raoul Green

Hudson FabricJ0276-06

Raoul Green is a softly muted cream with a faint sage cast, giving the cloth a quiet, natural warmth. The weave reads fine and even, with a gentle textured surface that keeps the colour feeling soft rather than flat.

About this fabric

This Hudson fabric by Jane Churchill is woven in a 70% cotton, 19% acrylic, 7% linen, 4% polyester blend, with an approximate width of 138cm and a subtle 1cm vertical and horizontal repeat. In this colourway, the pale green-beige ground has a washed, earthy lightness that sits between cream and sage, making the texture look fresh and understated. The close weave gives it a crisp but relaxed handle, and the tonal finish lets the slub-like cloth character show without becoming rustic. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH, it is a practical decorative textile for everyday interiors.

How to use it

Use Raoul Green where you want a softened neutral that still has a hint of colour, especially on upholstered pieces, blinds, or tailored cushions. It pairs well with pale oak, chalk white, and deeper botanical greens.

A calm, easy neutral that works across seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
