About this fabric

Woven in a 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen blend, Hopper Silver has the easy, breathable look of a natural cloth with a little extra stability from the polyester content. The fabric is approximately 140cm wide, with a plain, non-directional appearance and no visible repeat, so it presents as a clean, uninterrupted ground. In the image, the colour sits between cream and pale grey, with a subtle silver cast that softens the overall effect rather than making it stark. The weave is fine and gently textured, which keeps the finish feeling tailored and refined rather than glossy.

How to use it

Use Hopper Silver where you want a light neutral that won’t feel cold: it pairs especially well with oak, pale woods and softer greys. Its muted silver-cream tone makes an elegant backdrop for layered linens, small-scale patterns or relaxed upholstered pieces.

A quietly elegant neutral that works across upholstery and relaxed drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
