Hopper Sea Blue

Hopper FabricJ0239-15

Hopper Sea Blue is a quietly textural plain weave in a muted blue-green tone. Its surface reads soft and airy, with just enough linen slub to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has the practical feel of a versatile decorative cloth with a natural-looking finish. The colour sits between sea blue and cool teal, softened by a gentle grey cast that gives it a calm, understated depth. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it offers a clean, uninterrupted look that lets the weave and tonal variation do the work. The overall effect is relaxed rather than bright, making it easy to place in both contemporary and classic interiors.

How to use it

Use this soft sea-blue shade on a tailored armchair, bench cushion or relaxed curtains where a cool, restful colour is needed. It pairs especially well with chalk white, weathered oak and pale sand tones.

A calm sea-blue weave that suits easygoing upholstery or soft, breezy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
