Heskin Stripe Aqua

Hartwell FabricJ0156-01

Heskin Stripe Aqua shows a neat vertical stripe with a cool, softened aqua note woven through a pale neutral ground. The result is crisp but quiet, with enough colour to feel fresh rather than bright.

About this fabric

Part of the Hartwell collection by Jane Churchill, this fabric is 100% cotton and comes approximately 135cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 0cm and a horizontal repeat of 4cm. The stripe reads as slender and finely spaced, mixing aqua, grey-green and muted beige tones for a clean, measured effect. The overall look is airy and understated, with the cooler blue-green threads giving the cloth a gentle freshness against the more neutral background. Its cotton handle and tailored stripe make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the finish you want in the room.

How to use it

Use it to lift a scheme of painted woodwork, pale oak and chalky neutrals, where the aqua detail can add clarity without overpowering. It also works well in coastal or contemporary country interiors that need a stripe with a restrained, polished feel.

A cool aqua stripe that feels fresh and tailored on a neutral ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
