Hopper Kingfisher Blue

Hopper FabricJ0239-18

Kingfisher Blue is a clear teal-blue plain with a fine woven texture and gentle linen flecking that gives the surface quiet depth. The colour reads cool and fresh, with a slightly softened finish rather than a flat, solid blue.

About this fabric

Hopper in Kingfisher Blue is a plain woven fabric with no vertical or horizontal repeat, so the textured surface does all the visual work. The blend of 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen gives it a grounded, natural handle that still looks neat and controlled. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for made-to-measure projects, and the Q 8 + W 3 care code supports everyday use. The kingfisher tone sits between blue and green, with a lively but refined brightness that catches the light across the weave.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a cool, tailored note to linen-upholstered seating, or pair it with pale oak, chalk white and soft grey for a crisp scheme. It also works well in relaxed curtains where the teal depth can soften daylight without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
