About this fabric

This colourway pairs cool, washed teal yarns with an oyster-stone background, so the pattern reads crisp without feeling high contrast. The woven zigzag effect has a slightly slubby, natural texture that suits the fabric’s 49% cotton, 41% polyester and 10% linen composition. With an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 31cm / H 23cm, it is a practical design for larger upholstered pieces or layered window treatments. The palette feels restrained and airy rather than saturated, giving the pattern enough movement to stand out while still sitting easily in a calm interior.

How to use it

Use Tibor Teal on an armchair, ottoman, or cushions where the medium-scale zigzag can be seen from a little distance. It works especially well with light oak, chalky paint colours, and warm greys that echo the stone ground.

Use with pale woods and quiet neutrals to let the zigzag weave add movement without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
