About this fabric
This colourway has a softened taupe palette, with the darker motif reading more as mineral brown-grey than a sharp contrast. The 49% cotton, 41% polyester and 10% linen composition gives it a natural, slightly dry surface look that suits the woven effect visible in the image. With an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 31cm by horizontal repeat of 23cm, the pattern has a steady, regular rhythm that works well across larger furniture pieces. The overall impression is smart and understated rather than loud, making the design easy to layer with timber, stone and other muted neutrals.
How to use it
Use this taupe on an armchair, banquette or cushions where the small-scale pattern can add interest without dominating. Its warm neutral tone pairs especially well with oat, putty and dark wood finishes.
