Lanius Ivory

Gustav FabricJ0205-05

Lanius Ivory shows a softly broken geometric pattern in pale ivory and warm wheat, giving the surface a calm, lived-in look. The design feels light and tailored, with just enough texture to keep the neutral ground interesting.

About this fabric

Lanius Ivory from the Gustav collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a 140cm approximate width and a repeat of V 91cm / H 35cm approx. Its composition is 80% viscose, 15% polyester, 4% linen and 1% polyamide, which suits the slightly lustrous, softly tactile finish visible in the swatch. The colourway combines an ivory base with irregular wheat-toned patterning, creating a muted contrast rather than a sharp one. The result is a refined neutral with a dry, textured look that still reads bright and breathable on the eye. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern without heaviness: it would lift a smart sofa, dining chair, or Roman blind with its pale, architectural repeat. The ivory ground keeps the room open, while the wheat motif adds quiet depth beside oak, plaster, or soft grey finishes.

A softly textured neutral that works neatly across classic upholstery and tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
