About this fabric

Woven in a 51% cotton and 49% linen ground, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry handle you would expect from a cotton-linen mix and a width of approximately 139cm. The design is built from a large repeat of about 70cm vertically and 139cm horizontally, so the motif opens up across the cloth rather than reading as a tight all-over. In this Red/Blue colourway, the blues stay soft and powdery while the reds add a clear, jewel-like accent, creating a lively but not brash effect against the pale base. The overall look is decorative and individual, with the printed detail giving the fabric a light, painterly texture.

How to use it

This colourway works well for relaxed curtains, statement blinds or a feature upholstery piece where the pale ground can keep a room feeling bright. Pair it with chalky blues, faded greens or warm white paint to echo the cooler notes in the print.
