About this fabric

This Indira fabric by Jane Churchill is made from 90% cotton and 10% linen, giving the printed design a natural cloth handle and a relaxed finish. The pattern is a large-scale floral with a vertical repeat of approximately 62cm and a horizontal repeat of approximately 69cm, so the blossoms read boldly across the surface. In this Grey/Aqua colourway, the palette stays light and airy, with chalky whites, misty greys and fresh aqua notes softened by hints of warm peach and muted sage. The result is gentle rather than high-contrast, with the print feeling decorative but not heavy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need pattern without weight, especially against pale timber, white-painted joinery or cool stone. It is a good choice for relaxed curtains, occasional chairs or a softly patterned sofa in a light scheme.

Use for airy curtains or statement upholstery where you want a soft, painterly floral.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
