About this fabric

This Jasper fabric by Jane Churchill has a delicate all-over pattern with a small repeat of approximately 6cm vertically and horizontally, so the surface reads ordered rather than bold. The visible ground is a muted silver grey with a slightly warm undertone, while the lighter flecks sit just above it for a subtle, dappled effect. Woven in 45% cotton, 44% viscose and 11% linen, it has the balanced hand and gentle texture you would expect from a mixed-fibre cloth. At approximately 144cm wide, it is well suited to furnishing projects where the pattern needs to sit quietly across a larger expanse.

How to use it

Use this cool-neutral silver in schemes with chalky whites, pale oak and polished nickel for a restrained finish. Its small-scale pattern also works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains where you want texture without visual weight.

A neat silver-grey with a refined small-scale pattern that layers easily into calm, tailored schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Raffi Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
