Rafferty Wallpaper Slate presents a cool blue-grey ground crossed by very fine horizontal striations. The restrained slate tone shifts gently between pale grey and muted blue across the surface, giving the wallcovering quiet visual depth.

About this fabric

This Jane Churchill wallcovering is made from 100% vinyl on a non-woven base. In the pictured Slate colourway, closely spaced horizontal lines create a softly banded effect, with delicate tonal variation rather than a bold graphic motif. The cool grey-blue shade keeps the overall impression calm and contemporary, while the subtle variation prevents the surface from appearing flat. Its approximate vertical repeat is 70cm, with a horizontal repeat of 0cm.

How to use it

Use Rafferty Wallpaper Slate where a room needs a cool, composed backdrop: it works particularly well behind warm timber, pale upholstery and brushed metal, which bring out the blue in the slate tone. Repeat the wallcovering across a full wall to let its fine horizontal rhythm read as a quiet architectural layer.

A cool slate blue-grey wallcovering with fine horizontal striations for calm, softly layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
