About this fabric

Woven in 100% Solu Dyed Polyester, this outdoor fabric has the practical finish expected for exterior use, while the close vertical pinstripe keeps the look sharp and ordered. The charcoal lines read cool and restrained rather than stark black, giving the cloth a softer, weathered edge against the lighter ground. With a horizontal repeat of approximately 2cm and a width of approximately 142cm, it is an easy stripe to plan across cushions, loose covers, or lightweight drapes. The overall effect is clean and modern, with enough contrast to feel defined but not harsh.

How to use it

Use this charcoal stripe to bring a crisp, nautical note to garden seating, or pair it with solid greys, chalk white, and natural timber for a calm terrace scheme. Its cool tone also works well as a grounding stripe alongside brighter botanicals or patterned outdoor cushions.

A crisp charcoal ticking stripe that keeps outdoor schemes neat and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Otto Ticking Stripe Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
