Otto Slate

Otto Indoor-Outdoor OutdoorJ0293-09

Otto Slate is a softly heathered grey with a cool, slate-like cast and a fine linen-look surface. The tone reads calm and architectural, with tiny darker flecks giving the cloth subtle depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% Solu Dyed Polyester, Otto Slate is designed for outdoor use and measures approximately 140cm wide, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx. The close weave has the dry, lightly textured look of linen, but the colourway stays quietly even rather than boldly patterned. Its soft grey ground is lifted by delicate tonal speckling, which keeps the surface from feeling flat while still remaining restrained. The overall effect is crisp, practical and polished, with enough texture to sit comfortably in both relaxed and more tailored schemes.

How to use it

Use Otto Slate on clean-lined cushions, dining chairs or bench pads where a cool neutral is needed without the starkness of white. It pairs especially well with pale stone, weathered timber and charcoal accents.

A cool, understated grey that works neatly with timber, stone and black metal finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
