About this fabric

This fabric is a 51% cotton, 49% linen cloth with a width of approximately 139cm and a repeat of V 70cm / H 139cm, so the motif is set on a generous scale. In this colourway, the domed pavilions, trees and parrots are drawn in misty aqua, pale sage, blush and grey, with the ivory background keeping the overall effect open and luminous. The linen content gives the surface a lightly textural, natural look that suits the softly sketched, almost hand-painted detail. It is a good choice where you want pattern without weight, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, relaxed blinds or statement upholstered pieces where the soft green-aqua palette can bring in colour without feeling heavy. It sits well with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and brushed metals.

Pair with pale woods and stone tones to let the airy garden scene stay light and fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
