Angelica Red

Gloriana FabricJ0251-01

Angelica Red pairs a creamy ground with airy botanical stems scattered in warm red, blush and gold tones. The design feels open and elegant, with the motif left to drift across the cloth rather than crowding the surface.

About this fabric

Angelica Red from the Gloriana collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a repeat of approximately V 64cm and H 63cm, and a width of approximately 126cm. The composition is 85% Linen, 11% Viscose and 4% Polyester, giving the cloth a naturally textured handle with a refined finish. In this colourway the floral heads read as soft red with mustard-gold accents and pale blush stems, all set against a warm ivory ground. The overall effect is light and decorative rather than heavy, with the pattern’s spacing helping the larger motif feel graceful on the cloth.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a restrained floral that still brings warmth, such as upholstered occasional chairs, blinds or full-length curtains. The soft red and gold palette works especially well with pale timber, plaster pinks and warm neutrals.

A warm floral with gentle cream ground that suits classic schemes and tailored rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
