About this fabric

Woven in a 59% Linen, 34% Viscose, 7% Polyester blend, this fabric has a lively yet refined handle that reads well for either upholstery or drapery. The design shows a cool blue ground packed with tiny pale motifs, interrupted by narrow vertical stripes carrying pale aqua, cream and rust-red accents. Its repeat is V 19cm / H 130cm approx, and the stripe placement gives the cloth a crisp, architectural rhythm across the width. The overall effect is smart and lightly decorative, with the blue softened rather than sharpened by the multi-coloured detailing.

How to use it

Use it to add pattern to a scheme built around pale oak, chalky neutrals or painted white, where the blue can stay fresh and the rust accents add warmth. It also works neatly on occasional chairs, cushions or full-length curtains when you want a striped fabric that feels polished rather than formal.

A crisp blue ground with lifted multicolour detailing suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
