About this fabric
The fabric presents a saturated flame-red ground, with subtle darker clouding and fine surface variation visible across the swatch. Light catches the raised-looking texture gently, preventing the colour from appearing flat while retaining its richly dark character. At 300 gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight handle suited to upholstery applications. The 144 cm usable width and 35 m standard length offer practical coverage, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to cut as a plain.
How to use it
Use Alvar Flame on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm crimson tone can anchor a room. Balance the depth of the red with aged brass, walnut, charcoal or softly contrasting cream textiles.
