About this fabric

This Chocolate colourway from the Modena collection by J Brown is a 100% polyester contract fabric with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub test and a back-coated cigarette & match fire rating to BS5852. Visually, it shows a rich brown ground with lighter golden-brown movement across the surface, creating a gently variegated, lived-in look rather than a flat block colour. The texture appears closely woven and slightly napped, which helps the shade feel tactile and resilient. Supplied for contract use, it is also suitable for professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C, subject to the pattern book care guidance.

How to use it

Use this shade on an accent chair, banquette or headboard where its warm, chocolaty depth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with caramel leathers, dark timber and soft ivory trims.

Pair with tan leather, walnut woods, and warm metallics for a tailored, grounded look.
