About this fabric

This plain from the Modena collection is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a hard-wearing 80,000 Martindale and back-coated fire performance to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. In this colourway, the surface appears as a pale chrome grey with a whisper of beige warmth beneath the cooler silver notes. The weave has a fine, lightly textured look that gives the cloth depth without any obvious pattern, so the sheen reads smoothly rather than glossy. It can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C, with further care guidance available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Modena Chrome on clean-lined upholstery where its pale metallic grey can reflect light and soften sharper forms. It pairs especially well with blackened metal, misty blues and warm oak for a calm, tailored scheme.

A cool metallic neutral that lifts contemporary seating and tailors cleanly with stone, charcoal or pale timber.
