About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from A Celebration of the National Trust is a 236gsm textile with a usable width of 139 cm, a standard length of 60 m, and a repeat of 27 cm vertically by 34 cm horizontally. The surface reads like an airy brush-painted floral, with blurred teal-blue forms, deeper indigo accents, pale green leaves and scattered touches of buttery yellow on a light ground. Its 74.1 threads per cm give the cloth a relatively fine, closely woven hand, while the overall colourway stays fresh rather than heavy. The result is a lively but softened pattern that feels layered, slightly hazy and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use it on a relaxed armchair, loose cover, or full-length curtains where the teal and indigo can sit against pale paintwork. It works especially well with bleached woods, chalky whites and a few warmer accents to balance the cool palette.

A fresh painterly floral that softens the room with cool, garden-like colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
