Poet`s Garden Raspberry

A Celebration of the National Trust FabricSAF0344-02

Poet’s Garden Raspberry brings a loose, brushy floral pattern to the cloth, with raspberry pink blooms set against softened cream ground. Olive, blush and pale aqua accents keep the colourway fresh rather than overly sweet.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied as a Fabric with a usable width of 139 cm and a 27 cm vertical by 34 cm horizontal pattern repeat. At 236 gsm and 74.1 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial mid-weight cloth that should work well for both upholstery and drapery. The surface in this image has a softly textured, woven look that gives the painterly floral motif extra depth. Raspberry pink sits at the centre of the design, balanced by muted olive leaves, hints of pale aqua and warm cream, so the overall effect feels bright but gently faded.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a lively floral that still feels airy, such as a small armchair, bedroom curtains or a statement headboard. It pairs well with chalky whites, mossy greens and natural woods, which echo the softer tones in the print.

Pair with soft neutrals or leafy greens to let the painterly raspberry tones stay lively.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Poet`s Garden Raspberry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
