Orchard Tree Weave Linen

A Celebration of the National Trust FabricSAF0339-02

Orchard Tree Weave Linen shows a delicate leaf-and-branch trellis in a soft ivory cream that feels light but not stark. The woven texture gives the pattern a gentle, matte depth across the cloth.

About this fabric

From Sanderson’s A Celebration of the National Trust collection, Orchard Tree Weave Linen is a substantial fabric with a usable width of 138 cm and a weight of 465 gsm. The design repeats every 15.5 cm vertically and 17.3 cm horizontally, creating a balanced lattice of trailing leaves and pointed diamond shapes. In this colourway, the ground reads as warm cream with a faint linen softness, while the motif sits just a touch paler for an understated tonal contrast. With 186 threads per cm, it has a finely worked surface that suits this crisp botanical pattern and gives the cloth a polished, tailored finish.

How to use it

This soft ivory tone works beautifully on chairs, ottomans, and smaller upholstered pieces where the repeating leaf pattern can be appreciated up close. It also brings a calm, brightened look to curtains or blinds in rooms that need a subtle country-house lift.

A quiet cream with a refined leafy trellis that keeps rooms feeling fresh and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
