Arboretum Fabrics FabricSAF0153-03

Woodland Chorus Linen/Multi sets a gentle cream ground with a lively woodland scene of birds, nests and leafy branches. The design feels airy and story-like, with the illustration sitting clearly against the pale background.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied as a 139 cm usable-width textile with a 63 cm vertical repeat and a 91 cm horizontal repeat, so the branching motif has plenty of room to unfold across a room. At 300 gsm and 49 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial woven cloth rather than something light and floaty. The Linen/Multi colourway balances warm cream with fresh leaf greens, soft bark tones and small flashes of bird plumage, giving the print a bright but not harsh finish. The overall effect is natural and quietly playful, with enough body for upholstery projects as well as drapery.

How to use it

Use it where you want colour without heaviness: a reading room chair, bench seat or relaxed curtains on a warm neutral wall. The cream ground keeps the multi-coloured birds and foliage feeling open, while the greens and russet accents pair well with oak, cane and painted joinery.

A lively bird-and-branch design that suits statement curtains or a characterful occasional chair.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Woodland Chorus Linen/Multi without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
