Orchard Tree Weave Shell

A Celebration of the National Trust FabricSAF0339-03

Orchard Tree Weave Shell presents a delicate, leaf-edged diamond motif in a very pale shell tone. The pattern reads quietly decorative rather than bold, with the design sitting close to the ground for a softly textured look.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from A Celebration of the National Trust is a substantial cloth at 465 gsm, with a usable width of 138 cm and a 15.5 cm vertical repeat. The woven surface shows a small-scale diamond lattice formed by trailing leaf motifs, giving the cloth a refined, almost jacquard-like texture. In Shell, the colour is a warm cream with a blush-pink undertone that feels light, chalky and softly luminous rather than stark white. With 186 threads per cm, the weave appears tight and detailed, which suits its smart decorative character and upholstery-led weight.

How to use it

Use this shell-toned weave on an occasional chair, blind or ottoman where its pale warmth can lift a scheme without feeling icy. It pairs especially well with washed woods, stone, and deeper sage or terracotta accents.

A softly feminine neutral that brings gentle pattern and warmth to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
