About this fabric

Woven in 93% polyester and 7% lurex, this Shimmer FR fabric brings a metallic glint to the deep teal base without looking overly shiny. The 140cm width and 35.5cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat suit statement upholstery or elegant drapery where the pattern can flow cleanly across a full width. In this colourway, the teal reads cool and inky, with gold threads catching the light to soften the depth and add a subtle antique warmth. The textural weave and repeated wave motif create a lively surface that feels luxurious rather than flat, making it especially effective in richer interiors.

How to use it

Pair it with dark timber, burnished metal and plain velvet cushions to let the teal and gold movement stand out. It works well for accent chairs, ottomans or curtains where the shimmer can shift as the light changes.

Use with walnut, brass and inky accents for a rich, tailored finish.
