About this fabric

This colourway of Zonda FR Sapphire shows a dense woven texture made up of 95% polyester and 5% lurex, which gives the surface its subtle reflective sparkle. At 140cm wide, it is a practical decorative fabric with a strong visual presence, while the 34cm V x 35.5cm H repeat creates a structured, repeating pattern across the cloth. The sapphire tones read as cool and saturated rather than pale or icy, and the lurex threads add a slight glint without overpowering the darker base. The result is a smart, modern fabric with enough body for upholstery and enough sheen to work beautifully in drapery too.

How to use it

Use it to bring depth to a contemporary sofa, occasional chair, or pair of statement curtains, where the sapphire sheen can pick up low light. It sits especially well with blackened metal, walnut, and pale stone finishes.

The lustrous teal threads lift the woven texture, giving this fabric a crisp, contemporary finish.
