About this fabric

Verini Woodland Retreat Sapphire Wavy is a fabric with a 59% polyester, 24% cotton, 13% viscose and 3% linen composition, giving it a balanced cloth handle with visible textile grain. The design is shown here on a deep sapphire ground, where the woodland branches, leaves and birds read in soft sage, cream and muted stone tones against the darker blue base. With a usable width of 142 cm and a 35 cm horizontal repeat by 23 cm vertical repeat, it suits larger patterned applications where the motif can breathe. Its 20,000 martindale and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for light-to-moderate seating as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in rooms with warm timber, brass or chalky painted finishes, where the sapphire base adds depth without feeling harsh. Use it on curtains, occasional chairs or cushions to bring a dramatic, slightly nocturnal woodland mood into the scheme.

Use it for statement upholstery or flowing drapery where the sapphire ground can show off the foliate detail.
