About this fabric

Botanical Archive Clementine Chintz is woven in 58% Polyester 42% Cotton with Embroidery, giving the cloth a lightly structured surface and a crisp finish at the stripe edges. The usable width is 129cm, and the design repeats vertically every 19cm and horizontally every 32cm, which helps the stripes sit with regular rhythm across curtains and accessories. In this colourway, the background reads as a gentle powder blue, cool and understated rather than bright, while the floral stripes add small touches of pink, blue and green that keep the pattern lively. It is not suitable for upholstery, but it is treatable for FR drapery and dry clean only, making it a strong choice for decorative window treatments.

How to use it

Use this soft blue stripe for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or gathered valances where the embroidered bands can fall cleanly. It works especially well with bleached woods, white paintwork and muted sage or rose accents.

A pale, painterly stripe that feels fresh and airy at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
