Botanical Archive Briarwood Aqua

Botanical Archive Briarwood Aqua shows a cool aqua ground scattered with small embroidered tree motifs. The effect is fresh and airy, with the embroidery giving just enough definition against the softly washed background.

About this fabric

This embroidered fabric is composed of 58% polyester and 42% cotton, with a usable width of 129cm and a 32cm horizontal by 19cm vertical pattern repeat. The ground reads as a pale, misty aqua with a gently chalky finish, while the motif is picked out in soft ivory-white with warm brown stems for a subtle contrast. The embroidery sits neatly on the cloth rather than standing heavy on it, which keeps the overall look light and decorative. It is not suitable for upholstery, is treatable for FR drapery, and should be dry cleaned only.

How to use it

Use this soft aqua colourway for curtains, roman blinds or cushions where you want a calm, coastal lift without a strong blue statement. It pairs especially well with pale woods, off-white paint and sandy neutrals.

The pale aqua ground keeps the floral embroidery airy and calm, ideal for a fresh layered scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Briarwood Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
