About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft hessian-beige ground with alternating narrow leaf braid stripes and floral bands, giving the design a gentle vertical rhythm. The embroidery adds definition without harsh contrast, so the overall effect stays muted, airy and refined rather than busy. Composed of 58% Polyester and 42% Cotton with embroidery, it has the structure and decorative detail suited to accessories and drapery rather than upholstery. With a usable width of 129cm and a repeat of 32cm horizontally by 19cm vertically, it is well placed for curtains where the stripe can run cleanly down the length of the drop. It is dry clean only, treatable for FR drapery, and has a colour fastness of 4-5.

How to use it

Use it for pleated curtains, Roman blinds or soft accessories in rooms that favour natural textures and gentle colour. The warm beige and pale green embroidery will sit especially well with oak, linen and aged brass.

The soft beige base and slender floral stripes suit elegant curtains or decorative accessories.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Clementine Hessian without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
