Botanical Archive Bloomfield Laurel layers a soft sage ground with painterly trees, rolling green slopes and delicate blossom details. The overall effect is calm and airy, with the embroidery adding a gentle raised texture across the cloth.

About this fabric

This embroidered fabric is composed of 58% polyester and 42% cotton, with a usable width of 129cm and a 32cm horizontal by 19cm vertical pattern repeat. It is not suitable for upholstery, but it is treatable for FR drapery and is recommended for accessories and curtains. In this colourway, the palette feels quietly fresh: pale minty greens, muted olive tones, blush blossom accents and a misty cream ground create a soft woodland look rather than a vivid floral one. Dry clean only care and colour fastness of 4-5 make it a practical choice for decorative window dressing and lighter soft furnishings.

How to use it

Pair Bloomfield Laurel with warm oak, limewashed walls or pale linen upholstery to keep the sage and blush notes feeling light. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern without heaviness, such as relaxed sitting rooms or garden-facing bedrooms.

Use for lined curtains or statement accessories where the gentle sage ground can soften a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
