Glenhaven Bluestone is a neat gingham-style check in cool bluestone and white, giving the swatch a fresh, quietly tailored feel. The embroidery adds a slight raised texture that softens the regular grid.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% polyester and 42% cotton with embroidery, this fabric has a crisp, orderly check that reads light and airy rather than heavy. The 32 cm horizontal and 19 cm vertical repeat creates an elongated gingham effect, with the soft blue tone sitting over a clean white ground. It is 129 cm wide, treated as treatable for FR drapery, and is not suitable for upholstery, so it is best used where a lighter finish is needed. Dry clean only care and colour fastness of 4-5 make it a practical choice for decorative window treatments and accessories.

How to use it

Use Glenhaven Bluestone for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or tied-back valances in rooms that want a fresh blue accent without strong contrast. It works especially well with white paint, pale timber and simple striped or floral companions.

Pair with crisp white or pale oak for a fresh, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Glenhaven Bluestone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
