About this fabric

Botanical Archive Glenhaven Linen is composed of 58% polyester and 42% cotton with embroidery, giving the cloth a lightly structured handle and a refined stitched surface. The design shown here is a small check with narrow horizontal and vertical repeat, measuring 32cm across and 19cm down, which keeps the pattern crisp and regular. In this colourway the white ground is lifted by soft stone-beige bands, creating a warm, almost chalky finish that feels cleaner than cream but gentler than grey. It is 129cm wide, treatable for FR drapery, and specified as not suitable for upholstery, making it best for decorative curtains, blinds, and accessories. Dry clean only care and colour fastness of 4-5 support a considered, indoor decorative use.

How to use it

Use this pale neutral check to soften a room with timber, limestone, or painted joinery, where its warm cream tone can add pattern without visual weight. It is especially suited to relaxed curtains, Roman blinds, or cushions in calm, country-inspired interiors.

A quiet small-check with embroidered texture that works beautifully for understated curtains or soft accessories.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Glenhaven Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
