Botanical Archive Hydrangea Chintz

SS26 Images - Botanical Archive, Terrana & Hartland Fabric

This Hydrangea Chintz colourway pairs a soft cream ground with trailing botanical stems in blush pink, fresh green and pale blue. The embroidered finish gives the print a gentle raised texture that reads crisp rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Botanical Archive Hydrangea Chintz is composed of 58% polyester and 42% cotton with embroidery, giving the design a neat, lightly textured surface. The cream base feels bright and airy, while the hydrangea-like clusters bring a tender pink note that is softened by sage and leaf-green foliage. Small blue flowers and fine stems add a cool contrast, keeping the palette fresh rather than overly sweet. With a usable width of 129cm and a horizontal repeat of 32cm by a vertical repeat of 19cm, it suits made-up drapery and accessories where the pattern can be shown clearly. It is not suitable for upholstery, but it is treatable for FR drapery and dry clean only.

How to use it

Use this colourway for curtains, blinds or cushions in pale, sunlit rooms where the cream ground can lift the space. It sits especially well alongside painted woods, linen textures and soft green or dusty pink accents.

Perfect for airy curtains or decorative accessories where the gentle floral colourway can soften a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Hydrangea Chintz without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
