Botanical Archive Lakewood Teal pairs a painterly woodland scene with a cool, softened palette of teal, sage, pale gold and misty blue. The embroidery adds gentle depth to the leaves and trees, giving the design a layered, illustrative feel.

About this fabric

Woven in a 58% polyester and 42% cotton ground with embroidery, this fabric has a decorative, detailed finish that suits its illustrated landscape motif. The usable width is 129cm, with a horizontal pattern repeat of 32cm and a vertical repeat of 19cm, so the trees and scattered botanicals read as a continuous repeating scene. Lakewood Teal is noticeably cool in tone, with blue-green foliage, soft moss notes and pale sky-like clearings that keep the overall effect fresh rather than heavy. It is not suitable for upholstery, is dry clean only, and can be treated for FR drapery, making it well suited to curtains and decorative accessories.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in rooms that need pattern with a calm, outdoor feel, especially where the teal and sage can sit against pale walls or natural wood. Use it for drapes, cushions or a pair of statement blinds to bring the embroidered treescape into focus.

Use in curtains or accessories for a painterly botanical with a cool, restful finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanical Archive Lakewood Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
