Botanical Archive Meadowvale Leaf 2

A soft cream ground sets the scene for this embroidered botanical stripe, with slender trailing stems, fresh green leaves and tiny pale blossoms. The repeating motif feels airy and refined rather than dense or heavy.

About this fabric

Botanical Archive Meadowvale Leaf 2 is composed of 58% polyester and 42% cotton with embroidery, giving the design a lightly textured surface that suits decorative use. The 129 cm usable width and 32 cm horizontal by 19 cm vertical pattern repeat make the vertical trailing stripes easy to plan across curtains and accessories. Its colourway is a gentle cream with muted sage-green foliage and small blush-toned flower details, so the pattern reads calm and springlike rather than bright. It is not suitable for upholstery, but it is treatable for FR drapery and should be dry cleaned only. Colour fastness is rated 4-5, supporting its use in interior schemes where a soft natural look is wanted.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in relaxed country-inspired curtains, Roman blinds, or cushions where the pale ground can brighten a room. Pair it with painted wood, aged brass, and soft green accents to echo the leafy embroidery.

Use for elegant curtains or decorative accessories where the delicate trailing leaf pattern can read softly against the light ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
