About this fabric

This lightish grey colourway carries a finely drawn marigold repeat in soft white, with feathery leaves and rounded flower heads arranged in orderly vertical rows. The subdued palette keeps the scrolling foliage light and delicate, while the grey ground gives the design a cooler, gently weathered depth rather than a stark white effect. At 265gsm and 140cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its 32cm vertical repeat and 34.5cm horizontal repeat allow the botanical arrangement to remain clearly legible across a larger run.

How to use it

Use this cool, pale grey colourway to soften a reading chair, bench or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and quiet taupes. Its restrained contrast also works well where a botanical pattern is wanted without adding strong colour.

A softly contrasting light grey botanical print for refined upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Marigold Print Lightish Grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
