Pure Brer Rabbit Weave Linen

Pure Morris North Fabrics FabricMOF0097-03

Pure Brer Rabbit Weave Linen is shown here in a softly luminous ivory colourway, with fine pale-grey botanical linework layered across the woven ground. The restrained contrast lets the scrolling leaves and stylised flowers read as texture as much as pattern.

About this fabric

This Morris & Co. fabric has a repeating botanical design of upright stems, curling foliage and rounded floral forms, rendered in delicate grey against an ivory-cream background. Its 380gsm weight and 85 threads per cm give the cloth a substantial, closely woven handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 140cm, with a 69.5cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat for planning patterned cuts. In this colourway, the low-contrast drawing feels calm and lightly tonal rather than boldly decorative.

How to use it

Use the ivory ground to brighten a traditional armchair, bench or pair of curtains, especially alongside warm timber, chalky walls and natural woven accessories. The pale grey foliage also works neatly with soft stone, taupe and muted sage accents.

A softly detailed ivory floral weave that brings quiet pattern to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
