Pure Willow Boughs Print Linen

Pure Morris North Fabrics FabricMOF0110-01

Pure Willow Boughs Print Linen is shown here with a softly warm ivory ground and fine taupe willow branches layered across the surface. The low-contrast drawing gives the cloth a quiet, gently timeworn character rather than a bold decorative statement.

About this fabric

The closely arranged willow leaves are printed in pale warm taupe, with delicate linework that remains light against the creamy ivory background. Its 140 cm usable width and 46 cm vertical by 23 cm horizontal pattern repeat make the botanical design straightforward to place across curtains or upholstered panels. At 402 gsm and 22 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial woven presence, while the standard length is 60 m. The restrained colour contrast allows the small-scale branches to read as texture and pattern without overwhelming the room.

How to use it

Pair the ivory and warm taupe colourway with chalky painted furniture, natural timber and softly aged neutrals. It would bring a calm, layered finish to relaxed curtains, a window seat or occasional chair upholstery.

Use this softly contrasted ivory and taupe botanical for calm curtains, occasional upholstery or relaxed country-inspired rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Willow Boughs Print Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
