About this fabric

This colourway reads as a mellow flax beige with a slightly heathered look, where the linen-rich weave lets tiny shifts of tone catch the light. The composition is 45% Linen, 18% Wool, 17% Cotton, 12% Viscose, 8% Polyamide, giving it a natural handle with a subtly refined finish. With a width of approx. 147cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as a true plain suitable for simple cutting and broad, continuous runs. The overall effect is smart but relaxed, with enough depth in the weave to keep the colour from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this warm neutral on tailored sofas, banquet seating or blinds where a soft, earthy backdrop is needed. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and chalky off-whites for a restrained, layered scheme.

Its quiet flax tone works beautifully as a tailored neutral across upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
