About this fabric

This colorway has a dry, textural look with small flecks of lighter yarn catching across the surface, which softens the brick tone rather than making it look flat or glossy. The weave reads as a versatile mid-weight cloth, and the supplied specification confirms a 147cm approximate width and a composition of 45% linen, 18% wool, 17% cotton, 12% viscose and 8% polyamide. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design presents as an uncomplicated plain with no visible pattern interruption. The overall impression is earthy and slightly muted, with enough depth in the red-brown ground to feel substantial and practical.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, banquette or loose cover where the warm brick hue can anchor paler woods and stone. It also pairs well with chalky neutrals, tobacco leather and aged brass for a grounded, layered room scheme.

A warm, textured brick tone that works well across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
