Davey Ivory

Hamlin FabricF4738-01

Davey Ivory is a softly chalked ivory with a calm, near-solid appearance and a gentle natural texture. The swatch reads warm and understated, with just enough surface variation to stop it feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% linen and 42% cotton, this Hamlin fabric has the crisp-but-soft handle you expect from a natural blend. The image shows a quiet ivory cream with a faint warm undertone, so it feels lighter and less stark than a bright white. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 146cm approx, it presents as a plain, versatile cloth rather than a patterned textile. The surface has a subtle woven grain that catches the light gently, giving the colour a relaxed, softly tailored finish.

How to use it

Use Davey Ivory where you want a pale neutral that won’t fight with timber, stone or painted finishes. Its soft cream tone works especially well in rooms that need brightness without the sharper contrast of white.

A quiet ivory with a linen-cotton surface that suits calm, layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
