About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Hector Flax has a natural, slightly slubby surface that softens the small herringbone pattern across the cloth. The repeat is very restrained, with a vertical 0cm repeat and an approximate 2cm horizontal repeat, so the design feels subtle and continuous. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical furnishing width for both upholstery and drapery projects. The colour sits in a gentle flax cream with a warm beige undertone, making the weave visible without feeling contrasty. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This muted flax tone works well with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass for a calm, tailored scheme. It also layers neatly with richer natural textures such as wool, timber and aged leather.

A quiet flax-toned herringbone that feels refined on seating or soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
