About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft dark cream with a warm, slightly mellow cast, and the tiny woven pattern gives it a neat, almost basket-like texture. The cloth is a fabric with no repeat in either direction, and at approximately 140cm wide it offers practical flexibility for made-to-measure work. Its composition of 46% viscose, 22% linen, 22% cotton and 10% polyester helps explain the balance of softness, natural texture and subtle structure visible in the swatch. The overall effect is refined but not formal, with enough surface interest to add quiet depth without dominating a scheme.

How to use it

Use it on tailored upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains where the warm cream tone can soften darker woods and sharper architectural lines. It pairs especially well with stone, oat and aged brass for a calm, layered room.

A softly textured cream that feels tailored and easy to pair with timber, linen and muted metallics.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
